cadillac customer assistance
I just want to let all cadillac owners know that cadillac customer assistance is a joke. general motors will only allow them to assist all of you if you are the original owners and have all maintence and everything done at the dealerships. if the service manager states to them that you are not a loyal customer, then there will be little to no assistance. Because they figure if you purchased vehicle used, then they did not make any money off of you and therefore they do not care. there are so many concerns with all cadillacs, just like the wheelhop. according to them, they are working on the concern. well they are always looking into a way to fix something, but it could take years before they have fixes. Take it from me, i used to work at one of their customer assistance centers.
hey buddy...just to let you know my dealership in cincinnati, ohio has the best service in the america...they provide all of your needs and answer all of your questions...maybe you can give them a call when you're up this way...look em up...camargo cadillac...best of luck to you!!

That is so frustrating to know that second hand car buyers are being treated this way... Wherein they should treat everyone equally when it comes to customer assistance or service... Beside it's the car that where manufactured... But when I had a problem with my GM water pumps there was nothing like this that happened with my car dealer... I guess, maybe it was only in your customer assistance centers wherein you were an employee before...
Just another example of GM service and customer service, and this was on a new car under warranty bought from the same dealership.
It's no wonder the Japs are kicking our ***.
Took the vette in for some warranty issues. Rear end needed fluid change, posi was locking up on turns, lost active ride control, (who uses it anyway). Needed new PLASTIC gas cap, engine light came on, it was cracked at what, 5 months or so.
Anyway, service writer spent 5 minutes trying to convert my tires from being filled with air to gas. Finally, I said cut the crap I have other things to do. I did agree to an oil change since they had the car anyway. I had a coupon for 22.95. Service writer stapled it to my sheet and off I went.
Came back the next day to get my car.
They wanted $97.00 for the oil change!! Well it's mobile 1 and it's $5 a qt. Let's see that would be $35 bucks. so it cost about $62 for a filter and grease monkey. Fortunately before I left the day before I wrote on their invoice that I needed to be notified of any expense over $50. Bottom line that's all they could charge me.
Additionally, the car was filthy, I said don't you guys wash the car after service. They said no, because of S. Florida scam artists kept telling them they scratched the car in order to get it repainted. Huh? I told them that Lexus would bring a car to my business and take my car, when it was done they would bring it back detailed. Their answer was, that's why their cars cost so much. I told them I paid 2k more for the vette than I did for the sc430. They all got a good chuckle and went back to doing nothing.
I love my vette but from now on, other than warranty work I will do it myself, just like I do now on my allante.
