For a while now I have noticed that when I brake, as I get down to slower speeds I can hear a creaking sound coming from my front brakes. Almost like a scratching. The weird thing is that sometimes when I am at a complete stop I can hear the sound just by pushing the pedal a little harder and letting up over and over again. Has anyone experienced something similar? I took off my front brakes wondering if it was from those but they have a lot of meat left on them. My car is a 2013 ATS 3.6 Premium with Brembo brakes.
