BCM - ECM Problem (87 DeVille)
Hi,
We're having a lot of difficulty troubleshooting a BCM to ECM problem on a 1987 DeVille. We get an F32 Hard Code and are trying to check for a possible short to ground in CKT 459.
We see the 459 on the wiring diagram from the ECM (Provided by ALLDATA) but we can't find the corresponding CKT on the BCM.
The vehicle runs fine until something is touched. For example stepping on the brake, opening the door, ANYTHING that seems to take some of the current and the darn thing spudders out and dies. Both the ECM and BCM are brand new replacements.
Has anyone experienced this sort of dilemma before?? ANY! insight would be greatly appreciated, we're tired of beating our heads over this. Thanks for your time
