Default Battery charging

Mighty cold here, 20 below w/wind chill
Need to charge the battery on my 2003 Cadillac DeVille.
Is there a location under the hood where I can access battery terminals for charging, rather than pulling the rear seat out ?

Yes! When you open the hood, right next to the fuse box is a red terminal (positive). Right next to the A/C "freon" valves is a piece of metal that will say "NEG" or something like that for the negative.

Yes. You can go to any auto parts store, and they can check the battery and alternator. Most likely, your alternator is bad, but they can also check the connections.
