I have a 1990 Seville and consistently get this code. My Grandma's '93 has it as well. When driving along the instrument panel lights dim out, and comes back on intermittently. This happens even driving over smooth roads.

I do have the FSM with diagnostic tree. But this seems to be a common fault, and I'm curious as to if anyone knows the most common source of the problem. I have already replaced my twilight sentinel/dimmer headlight assembly pots. I know the dimmer pot is good. I am assuming there must be a short to ground somewhere, but don't know where to begin. I'd rather not have to tear apart the dash console if someone body already knows that I should be looking behind the stereo or by the ALDL connector....

I also know it is not my BCM. I have had this code prior to replacing my BCM with a new manufacturer at some time ago...if I remember correctly...and for what reason I forgot.
