I have a 1997 deville, abs/tc hasn't worked for a year. code c1243, i have taken the car out on icey roads and eraced the code and as long as i keep the tires spinning the traction comes on. lock the brakes the abs works. when i stop the code sets in a few seconds. the code is in history as long as the engine is not running. also as long as i hold my foot on brake peddle erase code it stays off as long as brake is on. have cleaned ground and checked main cable and it's clean. any sugestions?
