Wondering if anyone has any ideas...

1996 Seville STS w/ 60,000miles (100,000kms)

- Intermittently hesitates when accelerating after first turning car on for a minute or so
- Poor gas mileage:
13 MPG (18 l/100km) in city;
23 MPG (10L/100km) on highway
- Recently intermittently idles/runs high (1500RPM) - have to work harder to stop the car when it does that.

Sound like anything "major" or any known Cadillac issue?

i have the same car with some of the same issues except that i only have 13 mpg.
i would like to hear some answers too

 

I'd be curious to find out about the stinkin' mpg...I have a 98 STS and I get 13 mpg also. Sheesh. Its killin me. Thinkin I might need to go grab a little P.O.S. to drive back and forth to work everyday to save the $80 a week in gas.
