As the title implies I just replaced my water pump and cannot get the car to start. I am currently charging my battery, but there seems to be a weird electrical grind-like noise coming from under the hood now when I turn my key over. It's a 92 seville sls 4.9l. Any advice or suggestions are welcome I need to get to work on monday!


EDIT: By turn my key over, I don't mean all the way as if trying to start the car, but just to the point that a current is coming from the battery.

 

So after letting my charger sit on 12v till about 3 am then switching it to 2 for the remainder I got the lac started at about 12 the next day! I guess sitting my battery on the concrete drained it! Live and learn!
