Question 89 Eldorado Ignition Issues

Hello everybody, I have a 1989 Cadillac ElDorado that keeps blowing ignition modules?

What happen is this. I was leaving the grocery store parking lot the car turned on, then after a few minuets it died, i then checked one of the spark plug wires to see if there was a spark when the ignition was on and after testing it it showed no spark, i then went to Autozone and got a new ignition module, i replaced it, the car ran for about 5 minuites and bam the same thing, I went back to the Auto parts store got another module and a new coil just in case, installed them and the car ran again for about 5 minutes then died, at that point I said for get it and called AAA and was towed home. it was typical 90's temperature day in Arizona, but nothing with extreme heat. Does anybody have any ideas?? HELP!!!!

Default module

Did you use the silicone grease under the new module? Is your Tach terminal getting grounded somehow?? What is the condition of the pickup coil??
