I recently purchased my Cadillac and bought a new key fob (the original was missing). Now every now and then it goes into security mode and when I push the button to start the car everything shuts off!! However, sometimes I go out and try to start it and it just starts right up! Anyone have any thoughts??

 

The new key fob you purchased, did you buy it from a dealership or an independent company?
