Default 2004 Deville DTS needs XM

I have a 2004 DTS with the Bose cd/tape , The xm reciver was not installed and I would like to add it to the set up as the radio is set up to run the XM system.
Has anybody done this ? is it a big deal ? cost ?

You can go to an indepent stereo shop and buy an adapter that plugs directly into your factory radio. The adapter is about $50 you will also need the xm or sirius tuner they are about $100 to $150, the last part you will need is the antanna and it is about $50. This system will work just like the factory setup. Most shops charge about $75 for the istallation and takes about an hour. If done properly all you will ever see is the antenna.
