I purchased a 2002 Cadillac Eldorado last month with 60k miles. It was a one owner, in near perfect condition. Two days ago I noticed a whining noise when I started it up in the morning. The noise went away after about 30 seconds. I heard it again this morning and this evening on the way home from work. I am not sure it it has been doing it this whole time and I just haven't noticed, or its a new issue. Has anyone else experienced such an issue?

Mine was from the passenger seat. I divorced her!! Check power steering fluid, full? Check charging rate of alternator, within spec? how old is battery? if old, the alternator will whine upon cold start up to replenish a weak battery.
