I have a 1999 Deville. The Trunk and Gas Cap buttons bothed stopped working. The ones on the dash will not work as well as the ones on the remote. I have checked the fuses and I can't find one that is blown. For now I have just been opening the trunk with the key and pushing the manual gas cap open switch in the trunk. Is there anything besides for a fuse that would make this happen?

 

I have learned that mine would stop working when the weather is hot. I have not figured out a solution to this problem yet but when i know that it is going to be a very hot day then i will gas up the night before or early in the morning before it heats up! I would imagine whatever makes these things work is getting stuck in high outside temperatures.

 

i have no answer but that reminded me of Fonzie and his talent to open jammed machines ..
