I am swapping an lt1 into a 58' Ford ranchero. I am eliminating all unnecessary wiring and components. I would like to eliminate the automatic climate control head and use a separate check engine light to pull codes from. When I try to short the wires on the obd1 connector the check engine light doesn't flash codes. This pcm may not have that capability, could someone letbme know if this is possible?
