I'm a 'newbie' Cadillac Deville 1995 owner and have a question regarding replacing the stereo.

I took out the exisiting stereo, its a Delco unit model number 16174346. The local Cadillac dealer said they didn't make a CD player for this car.

I had a quick look on ebay but haven't seen any units with the same connector pins as my unit.

Does anyone know if there's a GM/Delco CD player that will fit my Deville? I'd prefer a simple plug and go solution if possible.

 

You should be able to track down the pigtail that you can splice into your aftermarket deck. Usually you can get them from electronics stores, or car audio stores like Car Toys. They will have the sleeve you need there too, I am sure.

You could just cut the plugs, and splice the deck in there....but that is no good...and people will look at you like this -->
