I have a cts 2010 model with navigation. My dvd player lately plays videos but i only get a severe audio distortion/noise from the speakers instead of the actual sound or no sound at all. It plays everything else quite normally (Audio cds, MP3 cds, mp3 on usb and ipod). would resetting the system fix this issue and if yes how do we do it?

 

Try disconnecting the current wire that connects the system to the batteries and that should restart it once you attach them back.
This is the way how things should be for you i am sure.
