2002 cadillac deville can you remove airbag from front passenger seat and swap with another and the code go off or do you have to swap seats

 

not the right place for this thread. Air bags are serviced separately. If you are trying to use a salvage air bag make sure numbers match. If you are replacing air bag because of deployment code(s) will still set and light will be on. Sir module can be reset once for deployment after that is has to be replaced. You will need scanner to reset deployment/ crashed code.

 

None of that I got t-bone in my cadillac and only the passenger side seat airbag deployed in bought another cadillac with a blown head gasket for 500 but the passenger seat isn't as nice as mine is so I'm going to swap them and was just going to swap airbags

 

Air bag deployed so you will need sensors and air bag codes reset.
