I have a 2016 Cadillac XTS that after a heat wave now has a cracked screen. Had I known that this kind of problem was occurring I definately would have thought twice about purchasing this vehicle. I took it to a dealer today and he said that he didnt think my extended warranty covers it. Like I explained to him I drive this car only to and from the train station Monday through Friday and it doesn't get driven on the weekends. I know I did not crack it and I am the only who drives and rides in this vehicle. The cracks happened during the heatwave. Anyone have this problem and how did you resolve it?

 

I am experiencing the same issue with my 2017 XTS. I'm looking a way to get it replaced.

welcome to the cracked cue screens.. you did not do it, it is problem with the cue screens, they are defective! if you fix at dealer it is 1800-2400 they repace the entire cue system...
your proble is only the defective front touch screen.. if you want to fix yourself it cost about 150 to replace it with good on.. not really a bad job to do but will take 4-5 hours first time. bigest issue is removing the cue from car... then take in house and replace the screen.. about hour or so and reinstall I have replaced two screen on 2013 xts and one on my 2016.. ebay sell screen but make sure you get good screen or you will do it again on 3rd one I learned. get good replacement even the dealer screen cracked agin.. there is place on the web that sell made in america blue screens that will not crack again for about 140 buy it reather than cheaper 70 dollar scree..
