Default Gm pal device?

I was reading over at the corvette forum and they seem to use a GM brand PAL device for Ipod and Aux input? Would we be able to use this device with our XLR's since the XM hookup looks the same???

The differences between the XLR and Corvette electronics are few but consequential. You can use Costal Tech's Lockpick to interface an ipod to the XLR's infotainment system.

Since this post in 2011, a new, low-cost Bluetooth device is available that will work with your Bluetooth-enabled mobile devices and has a direct USB connection which among other things, can keep an iPod charged.

The Knivo 455BTC and an XM interface cable from RayKawal (goggle him) does the trick easily and inexpensively.
