Default Bill's wager

Bill with Coates, just so you know I haven't forgotten our little wager. I also believe it was for about 10 bucks. You don't have to worry about forking up the green, the satisfaction of knowing that you are 0 for 3 against me is payment enough. Now that I have sufficiently rubbed it in I can go eat dinner.

some might remember the famous G.A.R.Y. and I have a bet, my end being that the XLR production run will not last longer than the 7 MY Allante run! Still comfortable with the bet. G.A.R.y. , G.A.R.Y. where are you?

Just might lose my bet with G.A.R.Y. as fixed costs for the XLR sharing the assembly plant with Corvette is a better business case than Flying 747s hither and yone. But 2000 production will not sustain a car line no matter how much walk in traffic it brings to a dealership. Actually wouldn't mind losing that but if it was with anyone but G.A.R.Y. Old mellow moderator himself!

G.A.R.Y.

New site, let's get some oponions over here. I say the XLR will never have an eighth MY. G.A.R.Y. says more than the Allante. Thoughts!

Yeh the Florida bad boy has kicked my a _ _ on the last two infamous OSU vs. Florida encounters!

The wager was non-specific just XLR. Without question, except in the case of mother nature or an invasion of th US, the XLR will be built longer then the Allante. No 747's and no crapy French parts.

We are halfway through the 07 season and caddy is reducing the price of new 06 xlr's -v- still in stock by 15k and 0% financing. If they don't lower the price for the 07's, Wild Bill will have a shot at winning our little wager.................................

And hopefully I'll still be alive when I can get one with high milage and a bad top for $6,000.
I'm thinking the prices should drop more quickly than the Allantes as every manufacturer in the world is now pumping out two seat convertibles. Not so, after the run of the Allante.

Well Zin, using stealth's numbers a $6000 XLR is about 2021. Sounds like a nice 95th birthday present but knowing your wise sage mind, you'll probably make it a 70th anniversary present to that dear gal that's put up with you for the last 55. (Good news -bad news Zin, life expectancy soon will be 130 but we take you license away at 115 or a governor to keep you under 100mph) also don't think these owners don't know where the switch is for the top so not to worry!

Saw a different XLR here 3 days in a row, might be time to hedge that bet!

i think zinzin should aquire one asap so that he can start
looking at work-arounds for the top and have most if not
all issues defined by the time we get ours.

dont you think?

heck, if he can endure riding in a prius, he can
endure a XLR-V
