Service Air Bag Light-what's the cause?

Service Air Bag Light-what's the cause?
My Service Air Bag Light came on today. Is this one of those lights that can be the result of a false trigger and will go off after a few starts? Or should I check somewhere for loose connections? Or will disconnecting and reconnecting the battery reset the computer?
