seat belt pretensioner

if bad ,will it make the air bag light come on ? will disconnecting it help ?

Yes it will cause the air bag light to come on. I had mine come on and it was just a loose connector under my seat so I assume disconnecting it will make it remain on.

I just had the seat belt pretensioner replaced in my 05 STS and it did set off theSRS warninglights on the DIC
