Default rearend noise in 07 STS

what is the cure for rearend whinning noise in an 07 sts

toshoba, are you looking to take care of this yourself or would you be willing to let your dealership have some input on this?

Default Rear end

My guess would be carrier bearing, had the same issue with another gm product of mine.

It would be through the dealer.I bought the car used,but it still is supposed to be under warranty till Aug

Let us know how it goes for you with your dealer. Hopefully they get you all fixed up and back on the road! You may also want to review your Warranty Manual that would have been issued to you during the sale of the vehicle. It would tell you all the different coverages you qualify for with a new or used vehicle (which is your case) and you would be better informed on issues like this when it comes time to take your vehicle into your dealership. Again I hope everything goes well for you!
