Default MIRROR AND HEATED SEAT PROBLEM?

I have a problem with my 98 sts which is the result of a horrendous trip to the dealer.I took the STS in for an intermitent dead battery which resulted in a no fix by them I checked your forum and someone recomended a new battery which the dealer said was not the problem.I replaced it anyway and yahoo!!! no problem starting since, but when I took it to them all electrical components worked. Now I have several that don't:both heated front seats, fog lamps, traction control on/off,electro rearview mirror/compass are now all inop.By the way this dealer screwed these items up also; 3 quarts low on oil, lifted the car by the rocker pinch welds and folded my fender out on pass side and did not tell me.I really hope someone can help.I cannot stomach another trip to this dealer to resolve these problems.By the way this car only has 50k on it.I looked over the fuses and relays to no avail.

Default RE: MIRROR AND HEATED SEAT PROBLEM?

Hello,
I haven't worked on this model before, but it sounds like what ever controls the options that are not working is either unplugged or bad. I looked the system up on SI2000 and it looked like that the Rear Intigration Module controls these options. It looked like it is mount behind the rear seat back. You might want to explore behind the right rear seat and see what you can find.

Good Luck
