Default Head Light bulb for 2001 STS driver side

I am looking for a head light bulb for my 2001 Seville STS. The part nomenclature is D1S HID. This bulb seems to be very expensive. The local dealer wants $400+ for it. I would like to know what I can do about getting one cheaper.

I saw that ad. Does this bulb fit the 2001 STS? The flange that screws to the base of the housing is missing in the picture. Thanks for your help.

I have purchased two bulbs. They looked like the one I took out. They did not work. Seems the pins got pushed up into the balast and did not make connection. Is there some special way to install the bulbs so I don't distroy them? I am temped to go to the dealer and make them responsible to make them work. That is much more expensive then buying them after market.
Please help. I feel like I am driving a junk car ratherthan the Seville.
