Best Oil for 2000 STS?

Hi guys just joined the forum for I just picked up my new toy. Whats a good oil for the N* engines and what weight should i use? My beauty will be used for mainly for cruisin and lookin pretty, nothing more.

All that info is on the oil filler cap!! brand?? any name brand oil that meets the letter classification on the oil cap. Dont have an owners manual?

Agree with carnut, the Cadillac engineers worked a lot of hours on that engine and know. Consult your owners manual.
