Default 98 sts electrical cvrss and radio

I have a 98 sts just bought, upgrading from a 91 deville.

Anyhow the car has a eletrical problem. I disconnected the negative cable put my test light between the ground cable and the ground on the battery. chased circuts for a while and found a 3 amp draw on the cvrss fuse. disconnected the cvrss module and the battery stays up.

Now the question is do i replace the module or is there something else that could be drawing the battery down but it not be the module defective? The compressor is not running when the key is off.

The other question is the radio (it has the bose system with cd changer) it works with a tape and on am but on fm it really bad reception and static. Also where can i get the cd cartridge for the changer?
