Default Traction engages on dry surface

2005 Cadillac SRX - The traction engages when I accelerate to pull out from a stop sign or out of a parking lot with a dip or rise.

Any warning lights? It could be how you drive.....

Default Traction engages on dry surface

It is not how I drive, it doesn't happen all the time. Mainly when I go in and out of my parking lot at work. There is kind of like a dip as I pull out of the parking lot. I think the suspension noise I am hearing is related to my traction problem.

Default May be battery trouble

Hi,
may be a bad battery. Mine did this several times. On dry surfaces, no rain, no mud, no snow. Traction engaged, grinding sound from under the car, car shuddered and could not be accelerated. Switched off the ignition, restarted, and everything was fine.
Shortly afterwards the battery finally failed (I had to jumpstart the car several times before because the battery was dead) and had to be replaced. Since then no more traction troubles.
