I recently had an issue where the gas gage was reading empty even after filling the tank with gas. Took the SRX to the dealer they performed some sort of system logic lockup reset procedure that appears to have corrected the problem. Never heard of that kind of problem.Does anyone have any information to share.

as our cars get more and more electronic, computers are or have taken over.
we saw that in a big way in the Allante years. starting in '87. we are now 20 years
down that road and accelerating.

a standard procedure, not that is a GM approved or do***ented procedure, is to do
the same thing you do at home. REBOOT the computer!

to me, system logic lockup reset procedure sounds like "REBOOT the computers".

maybe FlCaddy can shed light on this?
