Default I have the same problem with my 2015 SRX Q screen.

I started to see spidering in the bottom right corner with no sign of trauma to it. I am shocked to find out that this is such a common problem and Cadillac has not isssued a common recall fix. I am 400 miles out of warranty and looking at all 1,400.00 repair cost! Is Cadillac going to address this issue?

Default 2017 ATS-V Spider Webbing

Unfortunately, same here with me on a very low mileage 2017 ATS. My screen was becoming unresponsive and not allowing me to change via touch. I look in the lower left hand corner and there is a quarter size crack on the second layer of the screen. Luckily I'm still under warranty but my dealership hasn't been very helpful in the past. I am sure I'll get the run-around...

Default Same issue

I have a 2013 SRX and mine too, just started webbing and spreading. I can’t believe how many people have this problem. Is it better to fix it myself or take it to the dealer? I bought it used and it’s out of warranty.

I just had mine fixed at the dealership. I had a warranty so my repair was covered. They did say that it had to do with the high heat and the material it was made from.
I guess they now have made some changes.

I fixed it myself. Bought replacement display and tools for $64 on Amazon. Watched YouTube how to video. In just under 1.5 hrs the replacement display was installed and working. $64 v $1600, no brainer.
Thanks ...... guess I’ll be doing the same......this is my first, and last Cadillac......I’ve driven Lincoln’s for years and never had problems like this

This also is my first Cadillac and will be my last one. I feel the car doesn’t have enough extras and really isn’t that wonderful as some people say, They really should have done a recall for this issue.

Well let me say thanks Sam. I managed to get mine fixed at the dealer. Of course they replace the entire Que unit. They would do well to buy some of these faces from you. It would be faster and cheaper. I think they are doing a terrible job of handling this.

you are most welcome but am not really owning this solution, i just got the same problem and found this on utube so i had to sign up on this forum to share this piece of info, hope it becomes useful for the majority of people here as it seems like a legit solution, a replacement CUE is expensive, a HASSLE to get it honored by the warranty and there is No guarantees it will not crack again in the future, also the high cost will definitely have a bad impact on economy lol (just kidding) this seems like a legit cheap solution with a rather HUGE problem, for a fraction of the cost and as per the seller his screen will Not develop the same issue in the future as their's is not having the soft gel embedded inside which usually results in this issue !...

the spider web appearance will spread to the rest of the screen over time. This design failure is a known issue and resolves the problem in 95% of cases. It will not crack again in the future as it is a gel free design

cheers guys,
