In May 2018 our 2014 SRX Luxury (Sapphire Blue Metallic with Titanium interior, Driver awareness package, Navigation package, Compact spare) was totaled with just 12,736 miles on it.

On Tuesday I picked up a 2015 SRX Luxury in similar colors and options except no Compact spare, but with Chrome wheels and 13,956 miles. I had to go from Orange County, CA to Phoenix, AZ to find/purchase the car.

One of my favorite features of the 2014 dash is the ability to display the Posted Speed Limit. I use this feature in my work. I do noise consulting and road noise is largely affected by vehicle speed. It is nice to be able to determine the posted speed limit without driving all around looking for street signs. The 2015 does not appear to include this feature in the dash menu.

Does anyone know if the 2015 software can be back dated to include this feature and if so, how?

I took the new car in to Tustin Cadillac to install the front license bracket (CA requirement), and the Service Manager showed me how to access this feature.
