Does anyone or has anyone raced their SRX? I know C&D claims it runs a 15.4 @ 94 mph, but with a 94mph trap speed and a good AWD launch that should be mid 14s easy. I know the trucks are heavy but I know my SRX will spin all four with a good launch on the street. Just curious what people have came up with.

 

I have a V8 2008 SRX and it can not beat my 2007 or 2008 Escalade in the 1/4 mile. Never ran the SRX on time, will have to do that in the spring

 

I don't know, out of the hole it will squack the tires with a good launch. It will get up to 90mph just as fast as my GTP and GA and they both are mid 14 sec cars. I want to take it to the strip but the wife bitches that I am going to break it, lol.

I know its faster than a mustang, but that still doesn't say much, lol

 

when i first bought it back in Dec 03 i would do the little highway races against who ever wanted to, and it beat a good number of cars, my cts is fun to do the same too. i would still try and race my srx if i wasn't having transfer case issues. im going to get quotes to replace it next week, its 1300 in parts alone so lets see what they say about the labor. hopefully ill find a decent strip to try it out once its fixed

 

I am having trouble with the transfer case in my SRX. From what I read it might be the chain. Any idea where I can get a chain from?
