My heated steering wheel is not working properly - not that I need it in 100 degree plus weather in Houston, BUT.........when the wheel is cool, pressing on the on/off button on the steering wheel causes the indicator the flash, but not stay on. After the car has been out in the sun and the wheel is very warm to the touch, pressing the button will turn the heating system on. Does anyone have a schematic so I could chase this problem?

 

I don't have a way to send or post service info you are requesting. You could scribe to alldata for your car. Helm Inc published most FSMs. The heated steering wheel is controlled by a module with temp input. It would be better to wait until fall or weather is below 70 to check operation, that would remove ambient temperature as a factor, unless you only have a short term warranty on this car.
