i am trying to work on a friends 2006 SRX 3.6L. they recently replaced the battery. after replacing the battery, they drove it for approx 10 minutes. it died in their driveway. it cranks but will not start. the following item are not working: 3rd row seat, interior lights, sunroof, cant hear fuel pump run / prime, no power locks, shifter interlock, power liftgate and Im sure im missing something. I am pretty familiar with cars, having 22 years parts / dealership experience. I believe it is a body control module, due to so many items stopping at once. I have sound an AC Delco replacement # 25771740. I have disconnected / reconnected the battery and nothing changed. It will crank, windows do work, headlamps and taillamps work. Questions are: Do you think its the BCM? Any easy ways to check? Does this particular one need programmed? (Looks like it does to me) and I have seen mention of grounding issues causing BCM's to short out, do you think if the battery was not connected / reconnected in the correct order, would that cause this grounding issue? Any help is appreciated. thank you
