Default What is the best access to Temp Coolent Sensor

Whats the best access to get to the temp coolent sensor on 95 sls. Found busted wire, can't get to it.. Ground squirrel chewed wire harness.
Temp gage reading 00. Both fans running at engine start up. This looks like a hard fix.

Tonight I was able to get the two wires off the sensor. There is only 6 " of wire and loom hanging off the wire plug end, ate clean thru, I can't see the long end or where the wire loom came from. Working on that now. Thanks for reply. Whats POA ? Is that the same as SOL ?

I can't find the other end of the broken wires. I want to rewire the coolent sencer. Looking at the wiring diagram same black wire ties into egr valve, power control modual . Yellow goes right to the pcm with no splices. Thinking run new wires on top of motor to control modual I'm working on a 95 sls northstarr. Whats the best fix ?
