Sun roof will not operate. Would like to verify power supply but the fuse locations do not list one for the sun roof.Also not lister in the owners manual. Any help with what to look for. Thanks John (1997 Seville)

 

Why don't you get a wiring diagram? Then you'll know what to look for.

I speak in generalities here, as I don't have a car like yours. But I have an electrical engineer, and have been troubleshooting things like this for nearly half a century.

Of course, a voltmeter is important, too, though not absolutely essential. But information is essential. One way or another, you're going to have to gather information sufficient to solve your problem.

Start with Google. Then expect to buy a CDROM with detailed service information pertinent to your vehicle.

I've done this for my vehicles, in the past, and have found this method to be irreplaceable except in the simplest of cir***stances. Obviously, you have exhausted the scant utility of the user's manual that you likely found in your glove compartment.

 

Bottom line, once the cars went Fuel Injection, no one should touch the car w/o having a
good service manual .. I prefer the GM Factory Service Manuals and those can be had for a
reasonable cost. These are full featured manuals, going for $30 to $90.
