The left bank of switches on my steering wheel for the fan speed and temperature will not illuminate. I understand that this is not servicable in that it's not just a simple matter of replacing a bulb, a new switch unit is required.

What is the correct method/technique of removing these switches? I have tried various positions around the switch to gently prise it out but do not see any way of it coming out?

I am also looking for a **** that goes on the sldier control for the rear air that is installed into the rear of the centre console. Anyone help with donor parts or a part number?

Hi Craig, I have the same problem. I'm curious if anyone will reply. The good thing about my 2000 STS is that both sides of the steering wheel controls are burnt out so at least it looks like it's supposed to be that way.

Air bag has to off steering wheel. Disconnect battery for 15 min. before trying to remove air bag. Air bag is either bolted on with torx screws or will have clips that need to be pried away to release - requires special tool.

yes......let your fingers do the walking..... they know where to go.... ive lived with mine for two years now..... come to think of it, not once have i looked to see the lights on the wheel even when they were lite...lol
