Default Speedo never reads 0?

I just noticed that my speedometer is at 5 mph anytime the car is stopped. Don't know when that started but it won't go back down to 0.. The digital readout is correct, just the analog is off.
Any thoughts?
I just recently hit a really bad pothole and my service suspension system is lit up on the display, could this have anything to do with the speedo?
I've got a really bad noise comin from the frontend when making right turns since the pothole too.. I dunno
The hole was caused by the gas company and I bitched at them about it.. They said to get an estimate on the suspension problem and they will turn it in for a claim. big plus there!

Where can I find out what the codes mean for the suspension?
Thanks!

Have a look at this link for the codes.

Sounds like you really wacked the car. I suppose a hit that hard could jar the speedo enough. Put it on the list for the gas company estimate.

Hey thanks Katzman, great link! that's a keeper for sure!

Yeah I hit the hole at about 35 mph and it felt like I drove over a 2 ft curb.. It slammed so friggin hard, I'm thankful the rim wasn't damaged but that front end is totally messed up.

Sounds almost like a cv joint is on its way out. It's new since the pothole incident though.

Well I've got code C1738 - Exhaust Solenoid Valve Short to GND, C1760 - Left Front Position Sensor Input Fault, and C1763 - Right Rear Position Sensor Input Fault. All are current, nothing in history. I also have U1301 - Class 2 Short to Battery showing up as current, that's a new one too.
And all I have lit up on the dash is the service suspension system and the spedo not going back to 0.

I think that wack startled darn near every electrical connection on the car. It is hard to say without seeing and hearing the car and even looking at it on a hoist. That event has past now, you have the codes , write them down, so if you clear the codes and drive it they may or may not reappear. If they do it will pinpoint the issue, which seems to be the suspension sensors. Double check your battery connections too.

I'm still questioning the speedo issue though... I don't understand why it would be reading 5 mph all of a sudden when the car is stopped. I will have it in the shop getting it looked at this coming week, will let ya know what they say.
What does Class 2 short to battery mean anyway?.. connections are tight, checked it tonight.
