some 80's Seville pics from the net
My first "modern" Cadillac was a 1980 Seville,( I had a few 60's and 70's models up till then) It was 2 tone dark midnight blue metallic over steel blue, it wasn't an Elgante' but it had every other available option. I bought it second hand from a Beverly Hills Dentist. in 1988, it had 60,000 miles on it and I kept it in the family till around 1995 with over 200000 miles on it .. not sure exactly because the odometer numbers were not readable anymore.. anyway, I really love the bustle back models and I found these beautiful examples on the net a few years ago. This is an 83

This one is an 85

They really are nice to drive, they feel solid and Cadillac like in every way, plus with the front wheel drive and flat floor, they are just roomy enough for you and 3 of your best friends.
a friend had one of those. we always thought they were a very effective design.
we could put a board on the rear, over a blanket and jump over it with the dirt bikes.
that went on until someone landed on the hood.
the friend - not a happy camper.
then
same car, another time, we had gone target (cans) shooting, had a 30-06 with a scope.
owner of car, rifle leans on hood, looking through scope at the target, shoots the hood.
ahhhh .. those were the fun days ....
