Hey guys any help or ideas on this would be great.I got a 93 seville 4.9 that is surging at idle and running very high revs. This does not happen all the time. I changed egr, o2 sensors, gas cap the whole nine yards. Problem goes away then returns. I will be driving and it just wants to keep accelerating and when i brake it keeps wanting to drive through the brakes till it seems like it slows to a slow enough speed then it suddenly drops the revs. This thing will get as high as 4000 rpm and want to stay there steady. I have to shift to neutral and stomp on it a few times to kick it down!!!

My buddy suggests the TP sensor but... I got no clue. This caddy is alot of trouble under the hood. I got a 86 f250 that is so easy to work on compared to this space shuttle that it almost laughable... Anyway,, some help on this or suggestions would be great. I am going clean the throttle body tommorow and see if the egr tubes are clogged. If thats not it I hope to log back in and have some more ideas. Thanks in advance guys!!!
