Panel lights on a 93 Deville.
I need help with my 93 Deville. The lights on my analog style speedometer no longer light up. I can't see what speed I am traveling when it's dark. My other lights in my fuel data center and electronic climate control all light up as they are digital. I checked my panel light adjustment but that was not the problem. Then I got my owner's manual and checked my fuses. All of them were fine. I noticed 2 days later that my enging compartment light is now out too. They must be tied together. I replaced my flasher but that was not the problem either. I called a Cadillac service dept. who informed me a number of things could cause this problem but not the bulb that I originally suspected. If anyone has any clue to this problem through either experience or knowledge please don't hesitate to give your input. Thank you.

Cadillacs are quite known to be overengineered, so it probably a short in the wiring or bad wires. My 93 DeVille is having problems from the cigarette lighter killing my power locks and radio. Do remember, electrical systems in Cadillacs are very intricate and are a pain in the *** to pay for when fixing.
