i want to add a 12" sub to my 99 sts for a little extra bump. my issue is i want to keep the stock cd any ideas?

i got the rca adaptor but the sound quality is not great

If the sound quality is not that great then you should try buying a better adapter or check all the wires connecting them. Sometimes you will get a bad connector so you can also try getting it replaced.
