Default Help with Buying an 2000 SLS

I've been looking for an SLS or STS to drive daily and think i found one but hoping someone could let me know what to look for.. good and bad. I found a Black on Black 2000 SLS with 100k for a decent price. what should i be looking for as far as problems.

Struts.... electrical.. head gaskets.. what else.

What's the main diff between an sls and sts other than the engine and tranny setup?

Thanks for the help.. i really want a caddy

IIRC there's a pretty major service due @ a 100k . The problem is I can't recall what it all involves . Best to check with a Cadillac service department for what's involved / recommended . A lot depends on where the car has spent most of its life . You don't want a car that has a 100k of rough road under it . A 100k isn't anything if the car has been maintained . Check for service records . If there aren't any records , I'd be very careful . These cars are very expensive to repair . Especially the suspension system .

Good luck with the hunt . And remember , there's a lot of older Cadillac's out there . Take your time.
