I drive a 98 seville STS with about 170,000 miles on it. The other day i turn my heater on and the air could not get any colder. the fan works great but no heat. Then i start noticing I am losing coolant. So i figured that is why my heater isnt working. I took the car to the shop because i had the water pump replaced not long ago and was hoping that was the problem since it was still under warranty. they told me there was a small leak in the passenger side of the radiator. Rather then let them try to fix it i bought some leak stop pellets and put 6 of them in the top radiator hose. The leak has slowed down considerably, but the heater still is not working. Does that sound like a heater coil? Sometimes the belts start squeaking after the car has been running for a little while i think they are getting coolant on them causing them to squeak.
Any help would be greatly apreciated.
