Fuel Data and Electronic climate center, not working
Got a 1993 deville 4.9 81.000 mile . one owner like new , everything on the car work up to yesterday, i notice that my Fuel data and the electronic climate center, were not working,,, which leave me with no gas gauge, and no heat or a/c, i did check all fuse in the car all check out ok, , done nothing else to it, "help" thanking you in advance, Ed P
Did you check all of the fuses? There may be more than one fuse box.
The climate control does not work at all? Even if you push "Auto", and "High Fan", it doesn't come on?
Do the lights for the radio work?
Do the dash lights work?(is it a digital or analog dash?)
Have you had it checked for any codes?

All dash lights does work, radio light liight up and work, i check the fuses in the drop down box on the left of the driver, some on the pass side and a lot of BIG one under the hood all show good with a test lite, couldn;t find any more any where,,Auto button will kick the a/c comp in, but no fan at all, have not check the code yet,
FAQ section has links to how to access codes, descriptions, and how to clear them. To access codes Press Off and Warmer (red buttom) at the same time for 5 sec. Things should light up, then code will display. E codes - engine F codes - body(BCM) codes. If nothing happens you will need a real Cadillac tech to look at it.
If car won't go in to on-board, and you haven't found any blown fuses, it is not going to be any fun. You need a FSM or subscribe to Alldata online so your have the info you need. The other thing you can try is unplug ECC programmer, FDC, ECC control head, BCM, and ECM one (only)at time and see if panels light up. Reconnect parts if it doesn't change anything.
Car likely has a serial data problem, unfortuneately it isn't easy to know which module is the cause. Essentially module operates correctly however doesn't communicate which other modules..(it reminds me of kids or co-workers...LOL) the lack of communication can cause panels to blank out. By unpluging one at a time, ideally when troublesome module panel or panels will light up. Is this a DeVille or Seville? You stated DeVliie but posted in Seville, there is a big difference between car systems.
