Default Braking Issue

Hi there, I'm from Germany and bought a '94 Seville Seville STS just a few months ago. I had some minor problems since then but now it looks really bad.

About 2 weeks ago the ABS light came on and the computer said "check brake fluid" and "traction disabled". Obviously something with the braking system was broken. I took it to the garage and they checked all the hoses and so on and they found this kind of valve (on the pic) which is leaking. It's at the left rear end close to wheel.

The problem is, that they usually don't repair US cars, so they simply don't know what it is and what it's good for. I searched the internet for quite some time now and also asked around in a german US cars forum but even they couldn't help me.

Now I hope, that someone around here can help me and just tells me, WHAT it is so I can buy a new one.

Thanks for any help.

...and excuse me for any kind of english mistakes.
