When I start my cadillac the check oil message comes up on the DIC. I can erase it everytime but that is a pain. I just had the oil sending unit replaced in the side of the oil pan, and the oil level is fine. I want to find out what other sensor would be causing this message to keep coming up when I initially start the car. Once I erase the message the check oil message is gone until I shut the car off and then restart it.
Even when I have an ODBII scanner on it, it fails to report that trouble message.
