Default What are these springs for?

I inherited a box of miscellaneous parts with my Allante. It includes 2 springs. Each spring is approx. 5" long and 1.25" in diameter with a hook on either end. The springs have a plastic sleeve over them. Can anyone tell me what these springs are for? Thanks! DAR

I believe those add stability to the lower front fender. One side hooks on fender, other side hooks on frame near radiator. ??

Sounds like the Soft Top Helper Springs .. they often get removed cuz over time, they break the well.
