Default Test Drove an Allante -- Looking with ????

I test drove a fairly nice 88 Allante this morning. The car was a great driver and handler -- and the ride was firm but smooth as a Cadillac should be. This car, however, had a slight shaking when idling. The shaking went away or at least subsided at times, and the car accelerated well overall. The shaking was most noticeable when the car was slowing down to a stop-- little or no acceleration. The shaking was strong as the car slowed, then barely noticeable as the car idled. It was noticeable again upon acceleration. I did not notice any smoke or any other signs of engine trouble -- odometer shows 96K. What could be causing this shaking/missing feeling? I would like to find a really clean Allante. I don't think this is the one, but if the shaking is not too big of a problem, it could be a nice car overall. Thanks

There are too many variables to advise you without driving car. If you are serious about car have it checked out by knowlegdable person.
