Default HELP! Steering column issue-plastic ring

I got another Fleet and the car had been stolen so the column was trash. Got another column and took it apart to put an ignition switch in it and paint it to match my interior. Well, that little (and brittle) white plastic piece that keeps the horn from grounding out.... broke into about 4 pieces on both columns -the one after the plastic bushing and the rubber bushing. I was gentle and it didn't matter ifI had been a surgeon, they weregoing to break anyway. Other than the junk yard, where can I find one of these pieces. I really don't want to go removing all of the steeringwheels in the local U-Pull-It yard just to find brittle pieces that break. I love my loud horns and don't want to disable them.If anyone can help me locate a good one or even better, a new one, I would be more thankful than you could imagine. Please tell me there is hope....

Try the local GM dealer, that piece was used on many, many GM cars. Try www.rockauto.com as well and try www.hemmingsmotornews.com

THANK YOU!!!! One of the local dealers had it for $11 before taxes. For those that might encounter this problem later, it is called a retainer and the part number is 7808385. Once again, THANK YOU!!!!
